Our aim
We want everyone to be able to compare prices on Shoopfor, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on our website and in our app.
How we test
- Automated accessibility checks run against our key pages on phone, tablet and laptop screen sizes.
- We check key pages by hand with a keyboard alone, with page zoom, and in light and dark mode.
- We check colour contrast for text and controls, and that buttons are large enough to tap.
- We test again when we change a page.
Known limits
- Product photos and descriptions come from the stores. Some photos have no useful text description, and we cannot always fix that.
- When you click through to a store, its own website applies, and we do not control how accessible it is.
- Answers from the AI assistant and AI try-on previews are generated automatically and may not always describe everything a screen reader user needs.
- Not every page has been checked by hand with every screen reader.
